Valentina Mendoza was born in Bogota, Colombia and lived there until age 12 when she moved with her family to Tennessee. She began developing her musical skill as a young girl, with a background in piano extending to age 4. Eventually she was classically trained and began singing in touring choirs all over Europe, North and South America.
These experiences and this passion took her to New York City where she continued to hone her craft and to find her own musical identity. Valentina started composing her own music in 2014. By combining elements of pop, rock, jazz and choir, she has found her own unique voice. Valentina has been creating something truly special in the ever-changing landscape of pop. She recorded her first EP last year and is currently in the process of releasing and promoting “EP VOL 1”.
Valentina has performed all over New York City at venues like RockWood Music Hall and Pianos.
Born in Paris, Amalia Guégan has studied and lived across the world. She began playing the cello at the age of 10 in England, and continued her studies in New York . She was admitted to the distinguished Conservatory at McGill University in Montreal, Canada to study cello performance and graduated in 2007.
Her career continued in Paris where she performed with Breakbot and other notorious french artists. She has performed in major Parisian venues as well as on national french television.
Eventually her experiences led her back to New York where she met Valentina, and began collaborating on soulful pop music together. Besides their own personal projects the girls have created a brand new project together, and have been performing as a duet at various well known venues in New York City.
